Upper Perkiomen Valley Ambulance Association / Medic 369 has been making emergency house calls since 1946 and provides Advanced Life Support coverage 24 hours a day, every day. With a first-due population of 18,000 distributed over 25 square miles in Montgomery and Lehigh Counties, the call volume is steady but manageable. UPVAA maintains a fleet of three modern ambulances and a special service unit while remaining very active with community events. UPVAA continuously strives to learn, improve, and set the standard high in emergency prehospital care. And when hiring new employees, the best candidates possess not only the necessary clinical skills but also demonstrate what cannot be taught at school: good moral character and excellent work ethic combined with the ability to operate as a team member.
