About Narberth Ambulance

Volunteer Medical Service Corps (VMSC) doing business as Narberth Ambulance was established in 1939 as a volunteer ambulance corps and incorporated in 1944. In the ensuing years, Narberth Ambulance has become a combination volunteer/career 911 Emergency Medical Service organization that provides Advanced Life Support Services in a 50 square mile area in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Narberth Ambulance works under Montgomery County and Delaware county Emergency Dispatch Systems in a 911 PSAP model and operates 24/7/365. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer-based ambulance company responding to over 10,000 calls last year (2018) for the 150,000 residents and 9,000 businesses in the municipalities we serve.
